Lost Coast Trail - Northern & Southern Sections

It was difficult to begin writing about this story. How to communicate what the landscape looked like? How the ocean smell early in the morning from a sleeping bag feels. Or how ruthless the vertical cut of the southern trail really is? It was difficult to begin to describe this story... because I wasn't there.

 

Nevertheless! Mi amigos are amazing & I'm so proud I put together a video from their backpacking trip to share with everyone. The stories of the grueling sand stretches & gorgeous soft sunsets made for outstanding stories over beers.

When they hiked the Lost Coast Trail had recently opened a brand new southern terminus at Usal Beach & they tagged it! What follows is a mix of photos from their trip mostly in chronological order (from a guy that wasn't there).
